Dr. Boyd Mills
Veterinarian
Dr. Mills was born in Stillwater OK, as a young boy he and his family moved to South Dakota where he spent his childhood years following in his father’s footsteps who practiced as a veterinarian also. When he was 17years old, he returned to Durant OK where he graduated as Salutatorian from Silo High School.
He attended Oklahoma State University where he became a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Graduating in the top ten of his class and was voted most all around.
Starting his career, he worked alongside Dr. Semtner who was the founder of Durant Animal Hospital. Dr. Mills had the opportunity to purchase the hospital where he has spent his entire career. He has created an amazing reputation as a mixed practice doctor seeing all kinds of animals large, small, exotic, and domestic.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife Debbie. He loves to hike and is an avid fisherman. When he is not traveling or working, he enjoys working on his ranch and teaching his many grand children the life of a cattleman.

Dr. Kason Kemp
Veterinarian
Dr. Kason Kemp grew up on a small cow/calf ranch near Talala, OK, where his passion for animals began. He received both his Bachelor’s of Animal Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University. He enjoys the variety that comes with mixed animal practice, because there is something new every day. In his free time, Dr. Kemp loves spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Dr. Justin Irgens
Veterinarian
Dr. Justin Irgens was born and raised in Baker, MT. He attended Casper College in Casper, Wyoming where he obtained his Associate of Science degree in Animal Science. From there he transferred to Oklahoma State University, getting his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science (biotechnology) and a minor in microbiology. Dr. Irgens received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University. He harbors a love for all creatures small and large but is particularly fond of dogs and cattle. His special interests include small and large animal theriogenology, cattle and small ruminant herd health, along with small animal preventative care and medicine. With his free time Dr. Irgens enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, hanging out with his mini-Australian shepherd Nena, or spending time in his rabbitry where he raises pedigreed holland lops.

Dr. Boyd “Grandpa Doc” Mills
Veterinarian
Dr. Mills “Grandpa Doc” was born and raised here in Durant, OK. He is a proud veteran of the United States Army. He served as second lieutenant in the Korean War as a Tank Operator. He was awarded the bronze star for his courageous efforts.
After his military career was over, he married the love of his life Merlin Mills. He attended Oklahoma State University where he graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He is one of, if not the oldest licensed and accredited veterinarians in the state of Oklahoma. During his long career he has practiced in both South Dakota and Oklahoma.
Grandpa loves to spend his time visiting with people, whether it be clients here at the clinic or bouncing around to others around town. He has never met a stranger and always sees the best in everyone he meets.
